We replace existing “dumb” electricity settlement meters installed in a customer’s premises with communications-enabled three phase meters, CT and whole current meters or a whole current single phase meter, depending on the amount of power a site consumes and the type of building and business. All our meters are OFGEM certified and have been independently tested for long life.
As an accredited DCDA we collect and send meter register reading data through the Electricity Industry Data Transfer Network. We supply all of the UK’s “big six” energy suppliers and most of the smaller energy supply companies with monthly data. We also provide a reliable service delivering daily profile data to enable energy suppliers to provide this to their customers through their own web feeds and energy analysis tools.
Each month we send millions of data files to our customers which contain the accurate measurement data from our meters that suppliers us to create bills.
We do not read meters by any other means that remote communications. We can provide up to the moment accurate data from any meter at any time. Therefore, unlike traditional meter reading companies, we do not have hundreds or thousands of people reading meters by physically having to visit each one and, we believe, deliver a better, more accurate, more frequent and cheaper service than previously possible.
