Bglobal signs agreement with JD Sports to roll out smart meters at all UK stores
Bglobal plc (AIM: BGBL.L), the market-leading provider of smart metering solutions to the UK
energy market is pleased to announce that it has signed an extended contract with JD Sports
Fashion PLC to fit smart meters in all of its retail stores following a successful trial.
By the end of the installation programme Bglobal will have fitted smart meters into nearly 360
stores in the nationwide JD Sports Fashion chain, including the company’s Banks Fashions and
RD Scott branded stores.
Paul Blake, Energy Manager at JD Sports Fashion PLC said: “The success of phase one has
led us to increase our business with Bglobal and we are now beginning to plan the second phase
of installations across the remaining stores in our estate. Our two companies have worked very
well together and we look forward to successfully completing the second phase of installations.”
