Bglobal plc (AIM:BGBL), the leading provider of smart energy solutions and services to the UK energy market, today announces that it has signed a deal with Energetix, a developer of alternative energy products, to assist them in the process of creating a new energy supply company.
Energetix has acquired a pre-accredited electricity supply licence which will enable them to trade electricity in the UK and has signed a software licence agreement for the provision of energy data management software with Utilisoft, the subsidiary of Utiligroup which is owned by Bglobal.
The acquisition of the electricity supply licence is a result of the purchase of the entire issued share capital of Circuit Energy Supply Limited from Utiligroup. The acquisition and installation of the software is the first step in a plan to create a dual fuel energy business. Energetix will seek to acquire an additional licence to supply gas.
