Bglobal Metering will commence the supply and installation of Smart Metering Solutions in to the UCLan TiM project through July 2010.
The Tele-immersive Digital Manufacturing Laboratory (TiM) is a unique laboratory facility located at the iconic Burnley campus of the University of Central Lancashire, developed to provide a futuristic model in digital thread based manufacturing innovation for the region.
For education, the contemporary nature of TiM will be used to stimulate increased interest from young people, thereby promoting engineering as an exciting and viable career option for future generations, in an ultra-realistic manufacturing environment.

TiM will further enhance UCLan’s strong links with the manufacturing sector of the North West through its partnerships, including Bglobal Metering, BAE Systems, Rolls Royce, SAP and The Lancashire Economic Partnership.
